Clan Iortm Binar has Been in operation since late 2004. The first "Lans"
were held at Kiefer Morse's House and mostly consisted of Playing
Halo on X-boxes. As word got out about these "Halo Gatherings"... more
and more people wished to attend.
 
As the original group's Halo skills improved.. they decided to enter some
competition. The first competition was at Reed City in 2005.. Although
[I.B] won a few matches... They emerged un-victorius. This prompted the
original members to begin playing even more...
 
Later in the summer of 2005... Many LAN's were held.. including the first
PC related lan's. These early PC gatherings were mostly unsuccessful.. and
proved to be more of a hassle compared to the earlier Console gatherings.
 
Late at a Gathering in 2006 (After Snowcoming) the Clan website went online
and [I.B] went public. The name Iortm Binar... is an acronym standing for:
"It only runs ten minutes before it needs a recharge.." This acronym was
created by Josh Cooley in Macro Science class to make a "Code name" for
the project to put a computer in one of our lockers. This name was used in the
first competition at Reed City... and has stuck ever since.
 
Clan IB Early In 2006 Began Taking Itself Seriously... attending Competitions
and Creating a name for itself... Gaining many allies along the way... The First
counterstrike 1.6 Server was launched in May of 2006 and was ran on Kiefer Morse's
Old Pc.. Due to the Age of  the server and its wireless setup.. Lag has been a 
major Issue facing the server.. With pings averaging in the 100s.. Or more depending
on distance from the server... Setup of the server was slow and many of the plugins 
dealing with Autobuy and Server Rank still do not work to this day..
 
Beginning shortly after the launch of the server... Clan [I.B] begain the process of
recruiting new members from outside the area.. Due to the fact that these people were
from outside the original group of friends that created the clan.. it was decided that
recruits wear the ]I.B[ tag... or the "Outsider" tag.. Recruiting was done on a Tryout 
basis.. we based entry on "If you can get a few kills in... and you're not worse than us..
and you're not an asshole... you're in" Our first recruit was ]I.B[ Cheverie.. who later
left [I.B] in July of 2006 to pursue career based ventures...
 
Popularity and word of the server spread.. and more and more people asked for entry into
the clan.. and due to the overwelming response [I.B] Secksi and [I.B] Mr_Kola decided that
entry into [I.B] would no longer be done through tryouts... but by invite only... This was
also done to screen possible clan members and see their attitudes before entry into [I.B]..
Traffic for the origninal server skyrocketed... and the limits of the server were reached..
maxing out the server at 12 people... due to the lag.. no more than that ammount could be
logged on without the server crashing.. Also due to constant complaints of the lag... Mr Kola
began claiming that the server was being "Run on a Turkey Baster and 2 rubber bands..
well.. one's not actually a rubber band.. Its a Scrunchie/Hairtie.."
 
Recently [I.B] Was given a server for Counterstrike 1.6 which has the compacity
of 24 players.. and remote access.. Webspace also came with this and the clan webpage address
changed from http://iortmbinar.cjb.net/ to http://clanib.fxfi.net/ ... this generous gift
was from a The Leader of a Local clan [J.A] Jimmy.. 
 
Currently Clan [I.B] Is Looking for new Members.. and is Active in the Counterstrike 1.6 
community..
