OLD Clan News

We've got New hosting! Yes Indeed... We are free from the
tyranny of CJB dot net...
And thank god.. with all the popups
and Such... it made navigation a hassle... and a
chore...
So... Here it is! Expect to see a sleeker look soon.... With
time... Also... We have a New Server! Alot less laggy.. and
24 slots.. with all working features... Yes my friends...
[I.B] Truly now has the tools to thrive as a clan... The IP

The Old Server... Will still be maintained by me... This
just will most likely become a secondary
server for Fun maps and the like... for little bouts here
and there.. or if In theory.. we flood the other
server and do not have open slots on the main server the
address for that hasn't changed:

Perhaps I'll put a Deathmatch mod or Gun Game on that
particular server... We'll see where it's
taken in the next couple of months... And a Big Thanks goes
out to
Clan [J.A] For all this
help and for providing webspace and server... Without them
This wouldn't be possible...

Clan [I.B] will be hosting a LAN party at Area 51
on Tuesday, August 8, 2006, at 12 noon until
whenever they kick us out. The cost
will be $5 per person, and there will be a total of 10
available house
computers, distributed on a first-come first-serve basis.
We will be playing mainly
Counter-Strike 1.6,
Counter-Strike: Source, Unreal Tournament 2004, and
StarCraft. Other possible
games are Quake 3 Arena,
CUBE, Rune, AOE, or possible Shogo:MAD

Well.. no... I'm not dead.. and No... I
haven't forgotten about this site... Clan [I.B]
Is Still running and thriving... The
Server is up and running with several custom maps and full
remote admin control capabilites... We've added alot of new
members since the last update... And If you would...
Please... Drop me a line so I can start to make a full
roster.
If you're a new member of the clan.. and
Please.. Do signup for the forums. Even if you aren't an [I.B]
Clan member and frequent the server... In other news... We
have lost a member of [I.B], our first outsider member... ]I.B[
Cheverie... We wish him luck in future endeavours...
Also... as of Today... [I.B] Secksi and I
have decided... We are adding new clan members by
INVITE ONLY... so If you come on
the server and ask for a tryout... you probably won't get
one... Just play with us for a bit... so we can Get to
know you a bit... and see your skills...
Then... if you express interest... We'll
invite you to join [I.B].... It is currently under debate
whether we're going to make new members Stick with the
outsider tag forever... We may be changing that soon... To
make a more unified clan.... But.. Its still in the Maybe
stage...
In other news... Clan [I.B] is slowly
making a name for itself online... with our appearance
at many lans.. and heavy attendance on clan [MEAN]'s
server... we're becoming mildly known...
Also... I wish to announce a possible new
webhosting that would be popup free... Provided by our
friends from Clan [J.A]! More info on that in the forums....
Also there is a clan XANGA site.. .where you can post photos
and what not...

Counterstrike Server Will be Periodically
Down.... Doing Repairs and Uprgrades.
Server Should Be Up on Friday,
April 28 2006, At around 3:15pm. The Ip Address I
specified in the Previous News Entry was incorrect..
The Ip Adress Is:

The Admins Currently are myself and
LetsPlayStarcraft (Secksi), If you wish to obtain admin
rights, Just ask me and I'll add you to the list.
We are also accepting new members, just
post us a line in the Acceptance portion of the forums and
let us know you're interested.
Once again, I apologize for the server
being down... It will be back up soon!
I am Also in the process of updating
everyone's profile.. They will all be up eventually...

April 2nd, 2006
As many of you
already know, April 1st was the date of the [J.A]
Lan at Area 51. Clan [I.B] Did Compete in the
Counterstrike: Source Tournament. The First Match
was on De_Chateau against the [K!] Clan. We Won the
Toss and picked to play CT first. The First half
ended with a victory to Clan [K!] and a defeat to
Iortm Binar. As terrorists, [I.B] fared a bit better
but ultimatly were outclassed by [K!]. The Second
and final match was on De_Inferno against [MFR]. [I.B]
Suffered a crushing defeat only winning 3 out of 30
rounds. The Attendees of the Lan included Mr_Kola,
j3W84cC4, and Skipperdo. To make a 5 man team,
[I.B] used the skills of 2 other random Lan
Attendees, a Thank you goes out to both of those
people. There was a Re-Match against clan [K!] on
De_Cbble but we were ultimatly bested by them (Due
to TKing and other Issues). The Fundraiser was a
complete success and FOE:Youth will be able to send
3 kids to camp this summer with the $1800 dollars
raised. A thank you goes out to both Area 51 and the
whole [J.A] Clan for hosting this event.
Thanks also to the [K!] clan for some great
competition!
In other News.. There is now a
Counterstrike 1.6 server up! It is quite barebones
and will most likely experience some downtime
occasionally but its there. Its a 24/7 Cs_Italy
server currently (Due to ammount of time my old
lappy (which is being used for the server) takes to
switch maps. ) If you have any other suggestions for
maps to play, post it in the Forums. The Ip address
for the server is:

A steam account is
required obviously and you must have a copy of
original Counter Strike to play. The easiest way to
access this server is to add the IP to your
favorites. Do that by going into Steam and in the
file menu, click View. There will be a tab for
servers. Here you go to favorites and right click.
There will be a option to add server by Ip. Enter
the aformentioned IP address provided and you're all
set!
